Winthrop Road is in the Washington Square neighborhood of Brookline which features attractive brownstone buildings along the leafy side streets. Light Rail and Subway - Washington Square is a stop on the MBTA's Green Line "C" branch between Coolidge Corner and Cleveland Circle.

Grades K-8: For elementary school children, Winthrop Road is in a buffer zone for either the Driscoll or the Runkle School.
